What does a Circular Polarizing filter do?

This filter will help to eliminate
light reflecting off surfaces (water, glass, metal, etc) and will also increase
the contrast in blue skies with clouds.  The blue sky will appear darker
blue while the clouds will appear brighter white.  You can adjust the
amount of polarization in your image by looking through your camera viewfinder,
then spinning the filter until you see the desired effect.
